My story
Maggie was a young mama cat with five kittens when she was brought into the shelter. We quickly found a foster home for her and her little family so she could raise her kittens in a safe and healthy environment. To say that she was an excellent mother is an understatement! Although she was malnourished and not feeling well when we got her, she always took care of her kittens. Luckily, Maggie is feeling much better now and looks great! All of her kittens have been adopted but one, Norman. They love each other, so if you are looking for two, this would be a good choice since Norman seems to be a total mama's boy! While Maggie has always been friendly, now that she doesn't have to focus on raising kittens, she has become an extreme cuddler! She is definitely a lap cat and enjoys attention of any kind. She has been in a home with a large family with children and did well. Currently, she is in a foster home with dogs and cats and tends to start fights with the other cats so she would do best in a home with no other cats. She loves her little son Norman though. They play constantly and she still grooms him and cuddles with him. Maggie would do fine as an only kitty too! Recently, she has decided to go outside and lay on the deck in a sun ray when the weather is nice. She doesn't go far and comes back in when called.
